Dr. Aurelia Ayisi

Dr. Aurelia Ayisi is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Ghana. Her current research is focused on digital communication, media, and information literacy, with a specific emphasis on understanding the intersection of these areas. This includes exploring issues related to access, competencies, and global disparities and trends.

Dr Ayisi holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, a Master of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies, and a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Cultural Studies, both from the United Kingdom. Her research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the rapidly evolving digital communication landscape and the pivotal role of media literacy in empowering individuals and communities to navigate it effectively.
