Nancy Arhinfuwaa Imadi currently heads the Licensing and Product Approvals Unit of the FinTech and Innovation Office at the Bank of Ghana.
She’s a lawyer with vast experience within the Banking and FinTech sector building expertise in regulatory regimes, risk, corporate governance, and financial commercial transactions. Nancy is currently focusing on the Ghanaian financial ecosystem to develop policies and regulations that promote a sound digital payment ecosystem, compliance, consumer protection, innovation and financial inclusion.
She holds the conviction that inclusive innovative financial technologies offer a unique opportunity to alleviate poverty by extending access to persons beyond the last mile who are excluded from traditional financial services, as such, products and services developed by regulated entities should aim at harnessing and including such hitherto excluded persons.
Nancy holds a certificate from Harvard Business School on Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (EMBA)- Finance option from the University of Ghana Business School, a Qualifying Certificate in Law, from the Ghana School of Law and an LLB from the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana.
