Dr Lawrencia Oppong Peprah

Dr Lawrencia Oppong Peprah instructs undergraduate and postgraduate courses in International Commercial Law, Law of Torts, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Conflict of Laws, and related subjects at the University of Ghana School of Law. She studied at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Human Settlement Planning.
She further pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Cape Coast, graduating with first-class honours. Dr Oppong Peprah’s passion for international commercial law led her to the University of Johannesburg, where she obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Commercial Law. At the University of Johannesburg, she was awarded the prestigious Global Excellence Stature (GES) Scholarship, for her LLM studies.
Dr Lawrencia Oppong Peprah earned a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree from the University of Pretoria in 2024. Her research focused on the choice of law rules in international commercial arbitration, specifically from an African perspective. Lawrencia’s academic journey was further enriched by her Practical Vocational/Legal Training (PVT) at the Law Society of South Africa, School for Legal Practice in Pretoria. Dr Oppong Peprah has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Pretoria and as an external examiner at the University of South Africa, significantly contributing to the advancement of legal education at these prestigious institutions.
