Berla Mundi, is an acclaimed Ghanaian Broadcast Journalist and media figure who has attained significant achievements across Africa. Her groundbreaking hosting of the 2022 Global Citizen Concert in Accra and 2023 event in Paris raised over $2.4 billion for women’s empowerment, climate action, and poverty eradication.  In April 2024, she was invited to the Global Citizen Now event in New York, to speak about her contribution towards women empowerment in her home country, through her B.You Project, where she supports and mentors young women to enable them discover their purpose and full potential. This comes after she was officially named the first ever Global Citizen Advocate from Ghana.

Over the past decade, she has cultivated a formidable media brand, breaking barriers and advocating for Africa’s resilience and hope through impactful interviews and documentaries.
